Position Overview
This position will work as part of the bid and transition team for new client deals, leading the HR work stream, strategy, and solution. You will work closely with the sales, business, and HR teams. In this role, you will:
- Use your leadership and strategic skills to develop and define an HR solution that is accepted by the bid team, the HR review team, and the Rainbow teams
- Be the key point of contact during the transition and transformation phases of those bids and acquisitions that have been won
- Work closely within the HR Bid and Transition management community, providing appropriate coaching, training, guidance, and support, ensuring that the HR strategy is incorporated into a viable solution
Key Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for all staff and workforce related issues in deals, the bid, the transition, the transformation, and the ramp up
- Ensure compliance in contractual obligations and staff transfer and applicable outsourcing regulations and employment legislation
- Convincingly demonstrate Atos capabilities and experience in all staff related deals regarding outsourcing and acquisitions to customers and employee relation organizations
- Work closely with the finance team on the optimum cost and recovery components of the HR solution (to be) proposed and to secure financial consistency and soundness of the overall solution (to be) offered and the HR component thereof
- Assess liabilities and risks related to the transfer and repositioning of employees within the scope e.g. potential redundancies, pension liabilities, disability, outstanding entitlements, legal proceedings, health and safety requirements etc.
- Exercise leadership and control in the HR part of the RFI response, RFP response, and Due Diligence responses at the appropriate times during the bid life cycle
- Propose and negotiate adjustment of the scope according to the assessments made
- Propose and negotiate terms and conditions for transfer of staff (e.g. transfer of employment benefits, reservations for liabilities and risks, pension assets, outstanding entitlements)
- Understand the wider HR Team and when to seek expert advice (e.g. retirement obligations, reorganizations, termination of employment)
- Ability to be team orientated with a collaborative, positive, knowledge sharing approach
Experience
- General HR experience – minimum 5 years
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related discipline
- Strong analysis and Excel skills
- Influencing skills and confident in presenting via video or in person
- Project management skills

Desired Experience
- Experience within HR Bid Support & contractual negotiations disciplines is a plus
- IT industry experience
