We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring excellent customer experiences, managing conflict resolution, and assisting with administrative tasks related to natural disasters. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide reassurance to customers will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

Handle incoming customer service calls with a pleasant and professional phone voice.Interface with insured individuals and adjusters, maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.

Expertly resolve conflicts between insured parties and adjusters, ensuring both parties feel heard and supported.Calm and reassure customers during stressful situations, showcasing empathy and a willingness to assist.Follow directions effectively, adapting to changing situations and responding promptly to instructions.Assist in managing extension requests for vacation rentals, including crafting appropriate correspondence for notices.Collaborate with the team to ensure timely follow-ups on extension requests and inquiries.Display quick learning abilities to understand and utilize company systems effectively.Collaborate with Margot on administrative tasks, while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.Maintain organized records and documentation of customer interactions and bookings.Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a pleasant and reassuring phone voice.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution and calm customers during stressful situations.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably within the vacation rental or hotel industry.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and system utilization.
  • Adaptable and open to feedback, with a willingness to take direction well.
  • Ability to craft clear and professional correspondence for notices and extension requests.
  • Quick learner with the capability to understand and work with various systems.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and also work independently when needed.
  • Flexibility in adhering to different working shifts as specified.
