In a short tweet, the Church of Satan USA has denied any links with the Church of Satan in Abia State. When asked to comments further, it responded with a curt message that it won’t comment further.
When asked, “does satan really exist?”. It responded “just like god, satan is a fictional character”
The church in its website claims to have been founded in 1966 by Anton Szandor LaVey and is based in New York, U.S.
The Nigerian church is officially known as “The Assemblies of Light Bearer Greater Church of Lucifer”, and popularly known as the “Church of Satan”, located in Ohafia. It was founded by Mr Ifekwe Udo.
Mr. Udo became popular in the past quarter of a decade for his visible efforts in providing employment opportunities for the jobless youths of the community. He gave the jobless youth motorcycles on hire purchase. Allegations of bad conduct is yet to be proven against him.
