Arotile’s Body Arrives Military Cemetary For Its Final Rest

The remains of deceased first female combat helicopter pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, arrived the Military Cemetary for interment amid tears.

The ambulance conveying the body arrived the Cemetery at exactly 8.38 am.

The stretch of Airport road where the Cemetery is located was lined with tight security and heavy deployment of armed Military men, including the Guards Brigade.

The 24-year-old flying officer was recently hit by a vehicle driven by her classmate in Kaduna State and she died after sustaining head injury.

Present during the burial was the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique; Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and his wife; the House Committee Chairman on Air Force, Bala Ib’n Nalla and the family members of the deceased.

Until her death, Arotile was the first female combat helicopter pilot of Nigerian Air Force.
