An officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has been killed and three others injured by unknown gunmen in the Igbomotoru community, Bayelsa State.

Confirming the report to SaharaReporters on Friday afternoon, NSCDC spokesperson Afolabi Babawale said the incident is true, but he has yet to have comprehensive details about it.
“I’m aware but I have not received a comprehensive report about the incident, I will call you when I have a detailed report,” the spokesperson said.
